Matt Teixeira is a certified professional dog trainer. He brings to you the same passion and goals of excellence that K-9 Achievers has brought you for almost a decade.

A trait that sets Matt apart is his ability to “read” dogs, interpret their behavior and communicate this to the owner. By helping train the owner and dog together, he is able to strengthen the bond already shared. Whether your interests are in having an obedient dog or a specialized companion, Matt’s guidance can help you.

After attending Kilgore College, he graduated from the Tom Rose School of Dog Training (1-800-TOMROSE). He is experienced in training for obedience, personal protection, AKC competition, Schutzhund, agility, narcotics detection, and tracking. He is skilled in puppy imprinting and temperament testing.

Matt’s tailor-made training program will match your dog's unique personality and your family's personal goals. He will guide you in discovering a rewarding relationship with your pet by teaching you how to communicate using motivational and humane training methods.
